The Dean Ritter Foundation Scholarship for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing is privately funded by the Dean Ritter Trust.  Each year the scholarship committee will select graduating high school seniors throughout the state of Illinois who have hearing impairments who wish to continue their education at an accredited university or technical school to receive tuition scholarships.  The number and amount of scholarships varies each year.
